Not at all, with the new app you can make changes anywhere, anytime. plus you can see always see where is with GPS tracking

What does an Automower® cost?

Between $1200 and $3500 dollars. But consider the savings in not buying gas, and all the weekly time you save not having to mow and bag and dispose clippings, it pays for it’s self in no time!

Does Automower® robot lawn mower have a theft alarm?

Yes. Automower® has several theft protection systems that may be activated. The mower cannot be used without the personal PIN code. The installation lock prevents it from functioning on any other installation other than your own. The time lock requests your four-digit PIN to be entered at an interval decided by yourself. The alarm requires the PIN code to be entered when Automower® is stopped – or an audio alarm will go off. In addition, GPS communication units include a GPS tracker, available as an accessory for most models.

Is Automower® dangerous to cats and dogs?

Pets typically leave Automower® alone. The mower is equipped with sensors so that when it runs into an object such as a pet, it will stop, reverse direction and choose another path. If Automower® does collide with a pet, the contact is light and unlikely to cause any harm.

Does it take a lot of time to own and operate Automower®?

No, Automower® is very simple to operate. Once you have installed the robotic lawn mower, it automatically begins to manage mowing, without any involvement from you – whether you are at home or away. Your lawn will be well maintained, and you’ll never have to worry about mowing again.

What effect does the Automower® have on the environment?

Since Automower® runs on batteries, there are no emissions generated by the mower. The energy consumption is very low. Depending on the size of your lawn, the mowing cost is between $10 and $50 per mowing season for the electricity consumed.

I have a nice flower bed and trees that I want to protect. Is that possible?

Absolutely. If the boundary wire has been installed correctly around your flower bed, tree, shrub, or other objects, Automower® will not mow in the restricted areas.

How does it handle very long grass?

If the grass is very long and thick, you should raise the cutting height and gradually reduce it to the preferred level. In very extreme conditions, the lawn may need to be cut by a normal mower before Automower® takes over.

Will it cut in all weather conditions?

The mower is designed to function in temperatures up to approximately 113F. The NiMH battery capacity is lower in hot conditions. As a result, Automower® will charge and mow in shorter periods, though the mowed area remains unchanged (models with Li-ion batteries are less affected by temperature). Also, Automower® is designed to handle wet conditions, though you should bring the mower inside in extreme weather.

Can children play on the lawn when Automower® is working?

Even though Automower® operates on low power, you can still cut your fingers or toes if they come into contact with the cutting blade. A built-in safety feature means the blade will automatically stop if the mower is lifted up or turned over. The distance between the outer body and the blade tip is also extra-long to avoid feet or hands from accidentally reaching the blades. For safety reasons, we recommend in the manual that all persons not be in the mowing area, especially children.

Will I still need an ordinary lawn mower?

Not anymore. However, we recommend you complement you Automower® with a weed trimmer or edger for a perfect finish.

Can it handle all types of lawn shapes and sizes?

In principle, yes. If you can mow it with a normal mower, then Automower® can mow it, too. The convenience advantage may be diminished in a very complex yard with large obstacles and small patches of lawns not connected to each other. During the installation process, you will outline the areas the mower will not cut, such as flowers, bushes, trees, and rocks.

Will it work with my uneven lawn?

Due to large driving wheels, Automower® can work very well with uneven ground surfaces. It handles slopes up to 45% (24) incline, too. Unlike a normal mower, it will not scalp hills. Deep holes may cause the mower to become stuck, so it’s important to fill holes prior to starting.

Can it detect objects such as clothes or toys lying in the lawn?

No. It is up to you to keep the lawn surface object free. Any object that is small enough for Automower® to pass over may be damaged, as well as cause damage to the mower’s blades. Make sure your lawn is clear of small objects before operating the mower.

What about pinecones, tree branches and fruit on the ground?

To maximize the life of the blades, these types of objects should be raked and collected regularly. They will not damage the mower, but the blades will wear out faster. Tree branches may also damage or bend the blades resulting in a poor cutting performance.

How do I maintain the Automower® to keep it in the best condition?

Your mower is a very low maintenance machine, but replacing blades regularly is vital for the best cutting results. Every now and then, depending on your lawn size, you should spend a few minutes cleaning the grass from the wheels and chassis.
